The Hoya 'Hindu Rope' is a fascinating and visually striking houseplant, known for its unique, twisted leaves and intriguing texture. This plant showcases an upright and well-branched growth habit, with the distinct leaves emerging elegantly from the central stem. When fully grown, the 'Hindu Rope' Hoya reaches a modest height of approximately 2-3 feet.

    • Avoid excessive pruning, as Hoyas often flower from older stems or spurs. These spurs can produce flowers year after year.

    • Hoya plants are known for their fragrant, star-shaped flowers, which can take years to appear on new plants.
    • Some species of Hoya have leaves that can change color under different lighting conditions, adding extra interest to the plant.
    • Hoya flowers are indeed known for secreting a sweet, sticky nectar, which sometimes drips from the flowers which is why they are commonly named the Honey Plant.
