Tradescantia 'Oyster Plant' is a unique houseplant known for its rosette-forming leaves that feature a green top surface and a striking purple underside. The leaves are sword-shaped and grow upright, contrasting with the more common trailing forms of other Tradescantia species. As a relatively slow to moderate-growing indoor plant, the Oyster Plant can reach a height of up to 1 ft and spread up to 1-2 ft wide.
